Same LFS Shield engine for everyone: see how it works, step by step →
Your paperwork is your paycheck
I've been in logistics 25 years. No trucks, you don't eat. And for a carrier, no clean paperwork means no money.
Think about a normal day. Your driver snaps the BOL at pickup, the signed POD at delivery, a lumper receipt, three fuel receipts and a picture of the seal. You get a rate con, a carrier packet request and an invoice reply. Every one of those files is a door a scammer can walk through.
Shield has been checking our own freight in beta for over three years, across LFS AOS and Freight Broker Complaint, and MT runs on it. One line on the engine itself: see how LFS Shield works.
What your drivers upload
Photos at the dock. When a driver uploads a BOL, POD or seal photo through LFS AOS, Shield fingerprints it the moment it lands. If someone later sends a "corrected" copy with a different consignee or count, the mismatch shows.
The POD. That signed POD is what gets you paid. Shield ties it to the load it belongs to, so a POD that gets forwarded to a stranger or attached to someone else's invoice is caught.
Fuel and lumper receipts. Receipts get matched to the load and the lane. A receipt that doesn't fit the trip is flagged for a human to look at, not thrown out.

What you receive
Rate cons. Before you sign, Shield compares the rate con to the load you were offered: rate, pickup, delivery and who's issuing it. Two rate cons for one load means stop and call.
Attachments from brokers and shippers. That "updated packet" PDF might be the trap. Every file is scanned for malware before you open it, every time. Hidden scripts, macro prompts, fake extensions and remote-access bait stay in quarantine.
Emails asking for your docs. If the sender's address is a letter off from the broker you know, or the reply goes to some other inbox, Shield tells you before you hit send. That's exactly how a phony shipper with a website registered eight days earlier came at us.
Links. "Click to sign." "View your load." Shield checks where the link really goes and how old that web address is.

Your load, start to finish
Shield follows your load from the post to the payout: who offered it, who signed the rate con, which truck hauled it and who's asking for money. If your POD heads to an address that isn't the broker you contracted with, it stops you.

Getting paid
Somebody emails your factor saying you changed banks. You didn't. Shield holds that payment change until it's confirmed on a number found independently. It holds the money move, never your truck.

When you need proof
Every upload, fingerprint and timestamp sits in a private evidence vault. When a broker says they never got the POD, or a scammer claims your load, you can show exactly what your driver sent and when.

FAQ
Can LFS Shield check photos my driver takes?
Yes. BOL, POD, seal and receipt photos uploaded through LFS AOS are fingerprinted and tied to their load.
What if a broker sends me a rate con that doesn't match?
Shield flags the difference in rate, stops or issuer, and tells you to confirm on a number you found yourself.
Somebody asked my factor to change my bank. What happens?
The change is held until it's confirmed. Your loads keep moving.
Should I open a carrier packet a new broker sends?
Run it through Shield first. Packets and PDFs are scanned before they open.
Does a one-truck owner-operator need this?
One stolen POD can cost a one-truck company a month. That's exactly who it's for.
